Neubus is seeking an experienced AWS SysOps Administrator to work as part of a highly technical team of professionals who are responsible for all Cloud architecture design, development and deployment of cost effective and sustainable infrastructures to meet Neubus business requirements.
This role is responsible for providing support for both configuration management and operational sustainment of Neubus's cloud computing environment, and assisting business units to deploy IT and business applications that improve service delivery.
Certification required: AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate
3+ years of ASW SysOps work experience.
The role can be performed virtually.
The successful candidate will:
Manage and monitor the flow of data, to and from the service provider.
Translate the architectural requirements of the system.
Select the appropriate services which are based on the data or the security requirements.
Manage and then operate high availability and fault-tolerant cloud systems.
Estimate the usage costs and identifying the operational cost control mechanisms of the system to improve efficiency.
Provide support to other teams if any optimization or the troubleshooting on the performance of the application to avoid errors.
AWS SysOps Administrator is responsible to perform a number of activities on a daily basis and will be involved in the day to day activities in cloud management.
Ensuring the level of fault tolerance based on business needs
Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems in AWS.
Monitoring and managing AWS resource usages
Monitoring performance and availability of the applications on the AWS platform
Optimization of the environment for ensuring maximum performance
Identification of potential issues on the given application deployment
Provisioning cloud resources and managing implementation automation
Creating backups for different AWS services and applications
Identifying the performance of bottlenecks and implementing the remedies
Managing disaster recovery processes and procedures for backups
Implementation and management of security policies
Ensuring access controls and data integrity while using the AWS platform
Administer and migrate workloads from our on-premise data center to the AWS cloud environment.
Implement AWS solutions using EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, EBS, IAM, SNS, SQS, SWF, Route 53, Application Load Balancer, Code Deploy, Jenkins, Elastic File System, Direct Connect, Cloud Watch, VPC, Security Groups, CloudFront, Cloud Trail, Auto Scaling Groups, etc.
Build environments using automation and configuration management tools (e.g. Cloud Formation/Terraform and Ansible/Puppet)
