Job Summary
Join a compassionate and patient-centered healthcare team providing care to in-patients and Emergency Department patients. This role involves oversight, delegation, and coordination of total nursing care in alignment with organizational goals and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for various patient types including Medical, Surgical, Obstetrical, Pediatric, ER, and Telemetry/Cardiac.
- Collaborate with medical staff and healthcare team members to manage patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and timely.
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
- Implement infection control practices including PPE usage.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with HIPAA.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and contribute to a professional work environment.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current RN license in Nebraska.
- One year of full-time rural healthcare experience preferred.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred.
Certifications Required
- Basic Life Support (CPR)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Preferred
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – Required within 2 years of employment
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift/move up to 35 lbs frequently and assist with lifting up to 300 lbs occasionally.
- Capable of standing, walking, kneeling, and operating a motor vehicle.
- Visual acuity including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.

- Hospital setting with moderate noise levels.
