Your Role as the Executive Director / Administrator AmericareSenior Living is seeking a dedicated Executive Director / Administrator to manage the day-to-dayoperations of our Assisted Living Community / Residential Living Community. In this rewarding role, you'll beresponsible for creating a warm, nurturing environment that enhances thequality of life for our residents and our employees. As anAdministrator, you'll oversee all aspects of community management, ensuringcompliance with state and federal regulations.
What You'll Do: - Leadership and Management: Lead with aresident-first focus, prioritizing compassionate care and staff development tofoster a nurturing environment
- Team Collaboration: Cultivate a culture ofteamwork and open communication among all staff members to ensure exceptionalcare and support for our residents
- Commitment to Excellence: Uphold the higheststandards of care, with a focus on continuous learning and improvement todeliver the best senior living experience possible
- Fiscal Management: Develop and oversee thefacility's budget, monitor expenses, revenue, and occupancy rates, and identifyopportunities for cost-saving measures and revenue growth
- Community Engagement: Build trustingrelationships with residents and their families, foster a sense of belonging,and engage with the local community to promote the facility's commitment tosenior care
- Staff Recruitment and Development: Hire, train,and lead a dedicated team of caregivers and support staff, ensuring highstandards of service and care
- Operations Coordination: Oversee and coordinatemedical, nursing, and administrative activities to ensure smooth dailyoperations
- Facility Management: Manage buildingimprovements and equipment upgrades to maintain a safe and welcoming environmentfor residents and staff
- Policy Adherence: Adhere, and enforce policiesthat uphold a high standard of care and ensure compliance with regulatoryrequirements
What you bring: - Licensure: Current state administrator licensureof certification
- Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred.Relevant fields of study often include Healthcare Administration, BusinessAdministration, Nursing, Gerontology, or a related discipline. This degreeprovides a foundation in healthcare management and leadership
- Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age and have a strong track record ofsuccessfully managing, leading, and developing teams in a senior living managementrole
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonalskills to build and maintain relationships with residents, their families, teammembers, and the local community
- Knowledge: A deep understanding of healthcareregulations, medical terminology, and med management protocol, compliance, andstandards is crucial to ensure that the facility operates within legal andethical boundaries
