Primary Purpose:
Serves as a physician leader overseeing the design, execution, and evaluation of educational programs, while maintaining a clinical practice. Bridges academic and clinical excellence, ensuring that neurologic education and patient care are closely aligned. Promotes innovative, competency-based learning and fosters a culture of continuous professional development across all levels of medical staff.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Plans, directs, supervises, and coordinates work activities of subordinates and staff, including hiring, coaching, evaluating, and terminating, all in accordance with University policies and procedures
2. Leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of neurology-focused educational programs for medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers.
3. Integrates simulation-based training, case-based learning, and interprofessional education to enhance neurological competency.
4. Serves as a key liaison with affiliated medical schools, residency/fellowship programs, and academic partners.
5. Collaborates with departmental and institutional leadership on resource allocation and strategic planning.
6. Provides expert clinical care for patients with neurological and neuromuscular disorders.
7. Encourages and supports scholarly work in medical education and neurology.
8. Facilitates research collaborations and grant applications within the realm of neuroscience education and training.
9. Completes special projects as assigned.
10. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Job Requirements:
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge:
1. Medicine - Comprehensive knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventative health-care measures.
2. Psychology - Thorough knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
3. Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources.

8. Advanced knowledge and understanding of legislation and regulatory bodies affecting healthcare practices.

Required Certifications/Licensures: 1. Board Certification in Neurology.
2. Electromyography Fellowship.
3. Active Florida medical license.
Required Education: Medical Degree (MD)
Major (if required: Neurology
Required Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of clinical neurology experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in clinical neurology and neuromuscular research.
2. Strong academic portfolio in neurology education and mentorship.
3. Experience with diverse and inclusive research settings.
American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
