The Opportunity
Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Anesthesiologists for an ongoing locum tenens assignment at a high-volume Orthopedic Surgery Center in Chicago’s vibrant Lincoln Park neighborhood.
This position offers predictable weekday hours, no call requirements, and the chance to work alongside a collaborative team of CRNAs delivering high-quality perioperative care in a fast-paced environment.
Assignment Details
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (cases may start as early as 6:00 AM)
Call: None
Rotation: Weekly coverage
Caseload: ~3,700 cases annually
Team Model: 1 MD + 3 CRNAs per day

Techniques Required:
EMR System: Medaxion
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certification: Required (Anesthesiology)
- Licensure: Active & Unrestricted Illinois License + DEA
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA Only – No Exceptions)
- Clinical Skills: Proficiency in brachial plexus, spinals, and truncal/lower extremity blocks (documentation required)
- Caselogs: Must provide proof of epidurals, spinals, and regional blocks
- Experience: Prior Orthopedic Anesthesia experience strongly preferred
