Location: Charleston, WV
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 3x12-Hour (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM); includes every other weekend; multiple schedule options available, to be discussed in interview
Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills:
Perform CT imaging in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Stroke Center, operating 2 GE 128-slice CT scanners.
Manage daily caseload (varies), perform scans for a range of patient ages (pediatric to geriatric).
Work settings include: adult/pediatric acute care, emergency department, ICU, outpatient, Level I & II trauma.
Handle advanced imaging techniques including:
3D rendering, MPR (Multiplanar Reconstruction), ROI measurements
CT of head/neck, chest, abdomen/pelvis, spine/MSK, and special procedures (e.g., biopsies, drainage, vascular CTA, perfusion studies, virtual colonography)
Responsible for contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, venipuncture, and starting peripheral IVs.
Required Qualifications:
Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS, valid WV state license (pending accepted but must be active to start)
Experience: Minimum 2 years of CT experience preferred
Travel experience preferred, but first-time travelers accepted if they meet one of the following:
Experience with GE CT scanners
Experience using Cerner
Experience with FUJI PACS
Patient ratio: 1:1
Equipment experience preferred: GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba
Must be willing to work every other weekend
No floating or on-call required
Daily census: 80–100; ~20 visits per day
Additional Details:
Block scheduling not guaranteed
Must live over 100 miles from the facility (75–100 miles considered on a case-by-case basis)

Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
