We're looking for a
Corrections Assistant Warden 3 to join our leadership team-an experienced, strategic professional dedicated to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within our correctional facilities. In this vital role, you'll oversee critical day-to-day operations, evaluate staff performance, review serious incident reports, and help shape facility policies that promote security, rehabilitation, and compliance. You'll collaborate with local, state, and federal law enforcement, respond to emergencies, supervise disciplinary and classification functions, and help drive key decisions that impact staff and offenders alike.

Minimum Qualifications Four years of supervisory-level experience in a correctional institution, penal institution, or prison enterprises plus one of the following:
1. Six years of full-time experience in any field; or
2. A bachelor's degree.
OR
A master's degree plus three years of supervisory-level experience in a correctional institution, penal institution, or prison enterprises; OR
A doctorate plus two years of supervisory-level experience in a correctional institution, penal institution, or prison enterprises.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
An applicant who has been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence or a felony, or who is under indictment on a felony charge will be disqualified until relief from the disabilities imposed by State and Federal laws is granted.
In accordance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) (Part 115:17) of Title 28 of the Code of Federal Regulations an applicant who has been found to have engaged in any form of sexual abuse; engaged in sexual activity in the community facilitated by force, overt or implied threats of force, or coercion, or if the victim did not consent or was unable or refused will be disqualified.

Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:
- Provides direction both indirect and direct to the inmate population along with the staff. Weekly inspections of all areas of the prison and ensure that all security rules, regulations and procedures are being enforced. Hearing inmate disciplinary cases.
- Directs and coordinates all activities of Security to ensure federal and state law, departmental regulations and institutional policy and goals.
- Assists in the development and review of policies and procedures for the establishment and maintenance of American Correctional Association accreditation standards for RLCC.
- Recommends changes necessary to meet standards of the ACA.
- Assists in the development and review of institutional policy and departmental regulations.
- Makes recommendations for changes as deemed necessary to improve the overall operation and to accomplish the goals and objectives set forth by the Administration.
