Job Description
Work under the guidance of the IT Application Manager and the Regional IT Manager and be the point of contact for the ERP SAP and the other applications in the Americas region to contribute to the evolution of the application map based on the regional needs.
Responsibilities
Liaising with the business users and stakeholders in the Americas region to understand their requirements and expectations for the ERP SAP and other applications
Coordinating the activities of the IT application team, including specialists and external vendors, to ensure timely and quality deliver of solutions
Providing support and guidance to the users on the functionalities and best practices of the ERP SAP and other applications, as well as helping on the resolution of any issues or incidents that may arise
Collaborating with the Group IT Application Manager and the Regional IT Manager to align the IT application strategy and roadmap with the global and regional objectives and priorities
Evaluating and recommending new technologies, tools, or enhancements that can improve the performance, usability, or security of the ERP SAP and other applications. ABAP comprehension is a plus
Documenting and maintaining the IT application standards, policies, and procedures as well as ensuring compliance with the relevant regulations and guidelines
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Safety Requirements: Wears appropriate Personal Protective Equipment in areas in which it is required
Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements: Work requires extensive sitting at a desk with extensive work on a computer. May require work to be done on the production floor, which is dusty, dirty, and may be greasy.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven experience in coordinating process enhancement and optimization projects based on SAP and other applications
Strong knowledge of SAP (especially PP, WM, MM modules) and its integration with the main applications aimed at supporting Manufacturing processes. Manufacturing expertise as preferred skill
Remarkable skills to plan, execute, and monitor the development and support of software applications
Problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle complex and dynamic situations, such as changing requirements, deadlines, and budgets
Excellent abilities in understanding business needs and turn them into valuable solutions
Brilliant communication skills to build strong relationships with the regional managers
Energy, enthusiasm and drive to make things happen
Willingness for some travelling, per the Business purposes
Professional experience in the role or similar: > 10 years
English knowledge: native
Spanish language as preferred language
