Job Description Your Role The Government Markets and Risk Adjustment teams are responsible for the strategic leadership, financial performance, and operational success of Blue Shield of California's government sponsored health plans. The Executive Assistant, Senior will report to the Senior Vice President of Government markets. In this role you will support the Senior Vice President of Government markets as well as the Risk Adjustment leadership team. This role will require the ability to exercise good judgment and a high level of discretion, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain balance among multiple competing priorities. The Executive Assistant, Senior position requires the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment on projects from inception to completion and must be able to work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
Responsibilities Your Work In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for providing analytical and specialized administrative support to relieve and assist executive managers of complex details and advanced administrative duties
- Collect and prepare information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff and outside individuals
- Analyze problems, determine approach, compile and analyze data and prepare reports/recommendations
- Contact company personnel at all organizational levels to gather information and prepare reports
- Manage day-to-day organization of executives' calendar, appointments, meetings, and related schedule
- Coordinate with external parties, such as vendors and providers, in scheduling meetings
- Assist with onsite event or meeting planning, travel arrangements, and expense reports
Qualifications Your Knowledge and Experience - Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Requires experience as an Executive Assistant supporting Vice President level and above executives, including calendar management, executive level meeting support and preparation, and report generation
- Requires expert proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, electronic communications, and technical savviness
- Requires the experience and ability to design, set up and manage internal processes and protocols

Two Ways of Working:
- Hybrid (Default): Work from a business unit-approved office at least two (2) times per month (for roles below Director-level) or once per week (for Director-level roles and above).Exceptions:
o Member-facing and approved out-of-state roles remain remote.
o Employees living more than 50 miles from their assigned offices are expected to work with their managers on a plan for periodic office visits.

- On-Site: Work from a business unit-approved office an average of four (4) or more days a week.
