Stress Care of New Jersey is looking for a
Practice Administrator to join our busy behavioral health and addiction treatment center.
Position Summary:
The Practice Administrator oversees the daily operations of Stress Care of NJ to ensure high-quality patient care, efficient workflow, financial stability, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for strategic planning, staff leadership, operational management, and financial oversight of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Administration - Direct and coordinate daily practice operations, ensuring efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and workflows to improve productivity.
- Oversee scheduling, patient flow, and use of electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, and other regulatory standards.
Financial Management - Prepare and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and monthly performance reports.
- Oversee billing, coding, collections, and revenue cycle processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce expenses.
Human Resources & Leadership - Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff, including clinical and administrative teams.
- Foster a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
- Manage performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and staffing schedules.
Strategic & Business Development - Collaborate with physicians, providers, and executives to set practice goals and growth strategies.
- Monitor industry trends, payer changes, and local market conditions.
- Lead initiatives for service expansion, marketing, and community engagement.
Patient Care & Experience - Promote a patient-centered culture by ensuring excellent service and responsiveness.
- Monitor patient feedback and implement improvements in satisfaction and care delivery.
- Address patient concerns and resolve conflicts effectively.
The ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in a medical, behavioral health, or multi-specialty practice.
- Strong knowledge of medical billing, compliance regulations, and practice management systems.
- Proven leadership, organizational, and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
