Overview: As a member of the PE Operations Team, the Transaction Operations Associate will play a critical role in providing operational support for Adams Street's fund investment transactions, cash reconciliations, reporting and internal controls procedures.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide operational support for fund investment entities and separate account clients
- Process transactions for fund investments, capital calls, and distributions to clients
- Instruct, monitor, and settle cash wire and FX transactions through our treasury management system
- Interact with custodian banks, administrators, investment fund contacts to prevent and resolve operational issues
- Reconcile investment fund cash activity on a daily basis
- Work closely with Investment Accounting team to resolve monthly cash reconciliation breaks
- Respond to requests for information from both internal and external sources
- Comply with all internal controls, security measures, and policies
- Contribute to process improvements, proprietary application development, testing, and rollout
- Develop "big-picture" knowledge of the private equity industry and Adams Street investment strategies
Qualifications: Education and Work Experience:
- Undergraduate degree required
- 1-4 years of work experience, in a high-volume client service environment required, experience in financial services preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing time well across many tasks
Communication:
- Strong communication skills required: ability to communicate internally and externally with many levels of contacts
- Ability to write accurate, clear, concise, and professional messages

Technical Skills:
