Job Title: Staff Development Coordinator - Nurse Manager
- Full-time.
- Starting wage: $37-48.22/hr. depending on experience.
- Shift differentials: evenings ($3/hr.), nights ($4/hr.), weekends ($3/hr.).

About the Role: As a Staff Development Coordinator - Nurse Manager at Columbine West, you will:
- Develop, implement, and maintain an effective orientation, training, and education program for all facility staff, especially the nursing department, ensuring content aligns with regulatory requirements, facility assessments, and resident needs.
- Deliver and evaluate training using a variety of evidence-based methods, ensuring staff demonstrate competence through observed skills and performance outcomes; revises programs based on data, feedback, and evolving clinical standards.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of care on assigned units, collaborating with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to address acute resident needs, track outcomes, and uphold high standards of practice.
- Provide ongoing leadership, coaching, and support to nursing staff, ensuring appropriate staffing assignments, prompt incident reporting, and a compassionate, resident-centered environment.
- Lead or contribute to quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives, using data analysis and collaboration with leadership to identify improvement areas, implement change, and coach others in performance improvement projects.
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation and record-keeping for training activities, clinical care, and incident management, maintaining compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Maintain current knowledge of best practices, clinical guidelines, and regulatory updates, including participation in continuing education, professional societies, and facility policy updates.
- Support a safe, clean, and efficient working environment, fostering teamwork and customer service with staff, residents, and visitors while participating in facility-wide programs, projects, and the nursing administration on-call schedule.
What We're Looking For: Experience and Education: - Nursing degree from accredited college or university required.
- Clear and unencumbered RN license from State of Colorado required.
- 2+ years of experience and/or training required.
- Knowledge of nursing principles, diagnoses, care and treatment of residents required.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and experience with development, delivery/evaluation of orientation, training and education highly preferred.
- Knowledge of aging process, dementia, disabilities, and experience in geriatric/long-term care facility preferred.

Our Total Rewards package includes a salary range of between $37 - $48.22/hr. DOE
