Summary The Great Lakes Water Authority is looking for a Professional Administrative Analyst to provide and support Enterprise Risk Management. We are looking for a team-oriented, innovative, hardworking individual to provide a full range of administrative support to the Director of Enterprise Risk Management. In this role, you will provide a broad range of highly skilled and confidential administrative support to the Director and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with employees at all levels of the organization. Job Responsibilities - Perform technical and administrative tasks related to assigned group's operations
- Initiate actions for the settlement of problems falling outside of routine procedures
- Conduct research and investigations, compile data, prepare comprehensive statistical and narrative reports
- Review and evaluate the accuracy, completeness and quality of data
- Provide information to internal and external customers
- Advise on standard requirements, policies, procedures and best practices
- Investigate user concerns and complaints to determine gaps in efficiency of system use
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Follow security and safety policies and procedures in carrying out work duties
- Provide the job training
- Direct or work as a team member on activities and projects
- Provide functional advice and support for business system users
- Prepare formal and informal statements and exhibits
- Generate reports and presentations
- Independently analyze data to make recommendations for resolution
- Make recommendations for business processes
- Conduct presentations on specified topics
- Analyze the requirements of business systems and processes
- Use advanced technology
- Maintain confidential reports and records
Required Education and Experience At the time of application, applicants must:
- Bachelor's degree: with specialization in Business Administration preferred
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience related to the field and/or job assignment
- Education requirement can be substituted with extensive experience, at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer or designee
Preferred items: - Software: Microsoft Office, PowerBI, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, pivot tables
