The City of Aurora is seeking a professional individual able to perform complex professional work plan, organize, coordinate, and to direct City Governmental Operations and related work as required.
Work involves setting policies and goals under the direction of the Mayor and City Council. Organizational supervision is exercised over all City personnel. Work involves administering and coordinating a variety of municipal activities as provided for by Statute and authorized by the City Council. Responsibilities include maintenance and processing of municipal financial records and reports, as well as interpreting City Code and other directives approved by Council. Serves as City representative to Federal, State, County, and other regulatory agencies and operates with considerable latitude for independent action. Activities include providing information to residents on City policy, plans, and procedures. Coordinate projects within the City by working closely with City Engineer, Public Works Supervisor, and Water/Wastewater Supervisor.
