About The PositionWe are seeking a qualified Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a dynamic locum tenens assignment in Tennessee. This role commences on Nov 17, 2025, and spans a 12-week period, offering full-time coverage from Monday to Sunday. Shifts are from 8 am to 8 pm weekdays, with weekend hours slightly adjusted. This position involves a variety of urgent care procedures including laceration closures, abscess incision and drainage, as well as interpreting X-rays and EKGs.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform essential procedures such as laceration closure and abscess incision and drainage.
- Interpret diagnostic tests including X-rays and EKGs.
- Provide comprehensive care to patients starting from 3 months old.
- Manage cases related to workers' compensation; DOT certification is advantageous.
- Utilize the Practice Velocity EMR system for documentation and management.
Additional Information
- Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care.
- Must hold a valid Tennessee Nurse Practitioner license.
- Ideal candidates will have 3-6 years of experience in family practice, emergency, or urgent care settings.
