About The PositionWe are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Sep 2, 2025. The role involves full-time hours from Monday to Friday, focusing on a variety of clinical duties in a correctional facility setting.
Job Details

- LOA: 60 days
- Provider Type Needed: Family Practice Physician Assistant
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct PA/NP lines in the morning including suture removal and follow-ups
- Participate in rounding on sick inmates and managing sick calls, with the highest volume on Mondays
- Run chronic and preventative care procedures and follow-ups
- Operate foot clinics for ingrown toenail care and diabetes patient treatments
- Address medication non-compliance with patients
Additional Information
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience in correctional facilities is a plus but not mandatory
