Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide urgent care and emergency medicine services.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, incision, and drainage.
- Conduct splinting, X-rays, EKGs, and orthopedic procedures.
- Manage tasks including drawing blood, IV administration, and injections.
- Ensure care for patients of all ages independently, without supervision.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Epic EMR system.
Additional Information
- Board certification in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
- Pennsylvania state licensure and CSR license are mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in urgent care or 1 year in emergency medicine is required.
- Comfortable performing orthopedic procedures and providing comprehensive wound care.
