About The Position

Gastroenterology Locums - North Carolina Physician

Short-term GI assignment near Raleigh, North Carolina; choose your weeks through year-end with premium callback pay and light call.

Highlights

Only 1-2 weeks per month; you select the blocks
Premium callback pay with strong earning potential
Fall and winter dates still available

Practice Setting

Mix of inpatient consults and outpatient clinic
General GI required; ERCP/EUS optional at higher rate
Combination of clinic visits and scope-based procedures
No advanced practice providers; direct physician-led care

Schedule

Tuesday/Wednesday morning clinic only
Remaining time for scopes, inpatient consults, and light call
Week-long blocks; pick dates that fit your calendar

Cases and Procedures

12-16 patients per day
Full-scope GI; ERCP/EUS optional
Minimal emergent cases; low call volume but well-compensated

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Gastroenterology
Active North Carolina license and in-state DEA required
BLS certification

Travel Accommodations

All travel arrangements covered, including airfare, lodging, and rental car
