About The PositionWe are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a challenging locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This role commences on Oct 1, 2025, for a total of 64 days and includes a variety of shift patterns, primarily covering both day and night shifts. This position demands proficiency in managing a fast-paced emergency room environment, ensuring top-quality patient care.

- Provider Type Needed: Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant
- Schedule:
- Multiple shifts including 7a-7p, 7p-7a, and 12-12 shifts through October and November.
Responsibilities and Duties- Provide immediate medical attention to emergency cases in a highly dynamic ER setting.
- Perform procedures including advanced cardiac life support, basic life support, and pediatric advanced life support.
- Work collaboratively with ER staff to ensure efficient patient management and care delivery.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient records.
- Participate in educational opportunities to maintain licensure and stay abreast of the latest developments in emergency medicine.
Additional Information- Required to hold an active North Carolina license.
- Must have recent experience in emergency rooms of similar size facilities.
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
- Familiarity with the Epic EMR system is necessary to manage patient information effectively.
