About The PositionWe are seeking a qualified Anesthesiologist for a 12-month locum tenens assignment in South Carolina, specializing in pediatric anesthesiology. The position starts on Sep 8, 2025, with a flexible schedule requiring availability one day a month, either on a Tuesday or Thursday. This role involves supervising pediatric patients during sedation with shifts typically from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities and Duties- Supervise pediatric dental cases, ensuring safe and effective sedation practices.
- Manage the anesthetic care of pediatric patients, tailoring approaches to individual needs.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and comply with all healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with pediatric dentists and other medical staff to coordinate care.
- Ensure documentation is completed promptly and in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Additional Information- Board Certification in Anesthesiology required.
- Must possess a valid SC medical license.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is necessary.
- Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in pediatric anesthesiology, with a strong focus on patient safety and comfort.
