About The PositionWe are seeking a Nephrologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in West Virginia, starting Oct 13, 2025. This role, ideal for a board-certified Nephrologist, involves day shifts from Monday to Friday, focusing on comprehensive kidney care and transplant coordination. The schedule includes regular clinic hours complemented by weekend on-call duties, providing ample opportunity to manage a variety of cases.
Job Details- Location: West Virginia

- LOA: 60 days
- Provider Type Needed: Nephrologist
- Schedule:
- Monday - Friday: 8am-5pm
- Weekend on-call: Friday 5pm - Sunday 8am
Responsibilities and Duties- Conduct clinic visits to monitor laboratory testing, blood pressure, and other indicators vital to patient health.
- Oversee kidney replacement therapies as needed.
- Coordinate kidney transplant processes ensuring seamless patient care and compliance.
- Prescribe and manage medications to control blood pressure, glucose levels, swelling, and cholesterol.
- Educate patients about management options for end-stage kidney disease.
Additional Information- Required Board Certifications: Nephrology
- Must be licensed in WV
- Experience in using Epic EMR systems is preferred.
