Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Unit Profiles:

The purpose of a unit profile is to help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit. Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient rations, and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Below you will find a data collection tool to help you identify essential data needed to complete your profile.

Facility Department Number: 746

Discipline: Cath Lab Tech

Shift: Days- 6:45a-3:15p- Monday through Friday (Open to for 4 x10’s if difficult to fill 8 hr shifts)

Call Requirements: Variable call shifts (1-2 call shifts per week)

Weekends: Variable call shifts (1 weekend)

Experience in Cath lab:

One year able to conduct Interventional assistance (RCIS, RCES, or RT license)

BLS & ACLS certification

Preferred or nice to have:

Candidates with these skills will be considered first.

IR tech or EP tech experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

LHC/RHC

Cardiomems, Shockwave, Penumbra, IABP pump, Impella, PFO Closure, EKOS, etc.
