About The PositionWe are seeking a Psychiatrist for a 12-month locum tenens assignment in California, starting ideally in early September 2025. This unique part-time role involves overseeing and collaborating on case notes for four Nurse Practitioners, with scheduled duties just two days per month. Each session will focus on approximately 1 hour per NP, ensuring quality support and oversight.

- Schedule: 1-4 hours, twice a month
Responsibilities and Duties- Review and oversee the case notes of four Nurse Practitioners
- Provide expert guidance and collaboration to support NP staff
- Ensure compliance with the highest standards of psychiatric care
- Engage in bi-monthly meetings to discuss and strategize on patient care
- Use AdvancedMD EMR system to access and review case notes
Additional Information- Must be board certified in Psychiatry
- Valid California medical license required
- Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a collaborative healthcare setting
