Experienced ER RN needed for a busy emergency department, providing care to patients of all ages in acute and trauma situations. Department is fully equipped and staffed 24/7 with physicians trained in Emergency Medicine and experienced ER staff certified in advanced adult and pediatric life support. The nurse will also float to Med-Surg as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency care in an 8-room ER with trauma and observation bays
- Triage, stabilize, and manage acute and critical patients of all age groups
- Respond to trauma and emergency medical situations using advanced protocols
- Float to Med-Surg when required
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality care
- Document patient care using Evident CPS EMR system
- Work weekends as required, no on-call dutiesAx
