Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract assignment at a hospital in Detroit, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care, critical thinking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
- Triage incoming patients and prioritize care based on severity.
- Administer medications, start IVs, perform assessments, and manage emergency interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights (3x12s)
- Hours per week: 36 hours
- Start Date: ASAP
Requirements:
- Degree: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or higher
- License: Active Michigan RN License (unencumbered)
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – Required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent ER nursing experience preferred
