Prattville, AL Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for a locum tenens opportunity in Prattville, AL. This position offers high patient volume, flexible scheduling, and strong APP support in a well-equipped emergency department.

Opportunity Details:

Location: Prattville, AL
Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Schedule:
- Physician Coverage (24-30 shifts per month):
  - 6 AM – 6 PM
  - 6 PM – 6 AM
- APP Coverage:
  - 7 AM – 6 PM
  - 5 PM – 4 AM
Minimum Commitment: 3-6 months
Practice Setting: Physician-led Emergency Department
Facility Details:
- Annual Volume: 32,000 patient visits
- 18 ED Beds
- No Trauma Designation
- EM Physicians Respond to Codes
- Hospitalists Handle All Admissions
EMR System: Cerner
Scribe Coverage: None
Travel & Lodging: Provided

Patient Load & Flow:

Patients Per Hour: 2.84

Provider Requirements:

Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM)
Licensure: Active & Unrestricted AL State License & DEA
Required Certifications:
- ACLS, ATLS, PALS (ATLS waived if ABEM boarded)
