Responsibilities and Duties
- Evaluate and treat patients in the emergency department
- Perform procedures such as lacerations, incisions and drainage, reductions, intubations, chest tubes, and central lines
- Manage emergency situations alongside attending physicians
- Run codes and provide critical care as needed
- Ensure thorough documentation of patient care activities in the Epic EMR system
Additional Information
- Must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- Valid Pennsylvania state license required
- DEA certification necessary
- Must have ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role required
