Shift: Day Shift – 4x10s (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Weekly Breakdown:
Weekly Gross: $3,397.00 Per Week
On W2(Taxable): $1,920.00 Per Week
Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,477.00 Per Week
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the Interventional Radiology team at a premier Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital. This role is based in a hybrid OR suite utilized by endovascular neurosurgeons for advanced neurological procedures. Candidates must have experience in high-acuity neuro cases including strokes, aneurysms, and AVMs, and must be comfortable with complex equipment and procedural support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in advanced neuro-interventional procedures including:
- Diagnostic cerebral angiograms
- Carotid stenting and angiography
- Embolizations (AVMs, aneurysms)
- Thrombolysis/thrombectomy
- Vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty
- Set up and maintain sterile fields, scrub, circulate, and assist physicians during procedures
- Operate Siemens fluoroscopy equipment and C-arm in hybrid OR environment
- Utilize Epic for documentation and PACS for imaging systems
- Perform equipment checks, maintain quality standards, and ensure patient safety
- Participate in after-hours and weekend call coverage
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in Neuro Interventional Radiology
- Travel experience required
- Trauma Level I experience required
- Experience with:
- Carotid procedures
- Stroke intervention
- Vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)*
- Hemodynamic monitoring*
- Proficient in:
- Sterile technique
- Isolation precautions
- Siemens imaging systems
- PACS and Epic charting systems
Certifications:
- BLS (Required)
- ARRT (Required)
- ACLS* (Preferred)
- ARRT VI* (Preferred)
- Ohio State Radiologic License (Required prior to start)
