Shift: Day Shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 AM – 03:30 PM)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly Breakdown:
Weekly Gross: $2,372.00 Per Week
On W2(Taxable): $720.00 Per Week
Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,652.00 Per Week
Job Overview: This position requires an experienced X-Ray Technologist with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Candidates must hold an active ARRT-R certification, BLS certification, and a valid Maryland state license. The role involves working in a variety of settings including adult and pediatric acute care, ER, ICU, and outpatient facilities. The technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with a focus on radiology and cardiology imaging.
Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic examinations including trauma, portable, and fluoroscopy studies.
- Utilize equipment including GE, PACS, Siemens, and Philips imaging systems.
- Follow radiation safety and infection prevention protocols.
- Prepare and/or administer contrast media as required.
- Provide patient care for all age groups from neonates to geriatrics.
- Maintain accurate patient charting using preferred Epic charting system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within the Radiology department.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an X-Ray Tech.
- Active ARRT-R certification.
- BLS certification required.
- Maryland state license required (or Compact License).
- Proficiency with diagnostic imaging equipment (GE, PACS, Siemens, Philips).
- Comfortable floating within hospital units as needed.
- Ability to work on-call shifts and weekends if required.
- Flu vaccine is mandatory; COVID-19 vaccine is not required.
