Weekly Breakdown:
Weekly Gross: $2,372.00 Per Week
On W2(Taxable): $720.00 Per Week
Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,652.00 Per Week
Job Overview : Seeking an experienced X-Ray Tech with a Maryland or Compact Radiologic Technologist license to support surgical and clinical orthopedic imaging at LBH - Sinai Hospital. This role requires proficiency with C-arm and portable X-ray machines in both surgical and outpatient settings, focusing on general ortho imaging and specialized limb lengthening/bone deformity correction procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform bedside/portable X-Ray and C-arm procedures in a surgical and clinical orthopedic environment.
- Conduct long-leg imaging from hip to ankle and other specialized orthopedic views.
- Work efficiently and independently or as part of a team ensuring patient safety and quality imaging.
- Provide excellent communication and customer service to patients and interdisciplinary teams.
- Float within the facility and potentially to nearby affiliate hospitals, within the scope of practice.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience required (no new graduates).
- Valid Maryland or Compact Radiologic Technologist license required at time of submission.
- Experience working with C-arm and portable X-ray machines is essential.
- Preferred experience in orthopedic imaging, operating room (OR), emergency room (ER), and Level I trauma settings.
- Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and portable imaging equipment.
- BLS certification and ARRT (R) certification required.
- Must be able to adapt to multiple settings including outpatient, inpatient, community hospital, and children’s hospital environments.
