**Job Title: CT Scan/General Diagnostic X-Ray Technologist**
**Location**: Community Hospital
**Shift**: Nights / Weekend
**Scheduled Weekly Hours**: 32 (2-12 hour shifts + 1-8 hour shift)
**Schedule**: Friday (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM); Saturday and Sunday (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Scan/General Diagnostic X-Ray Technologist to join our team. This role requires proficiency in both CT and general X-ray procedures, adhering to established protocols for the diagnosis of disease and injury in both ambulatory and hospital settings. The technologist will be expected to cover both departments after 10:30 PM and will work with Siemens equipment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform high-quality multimodality procedures in accordance with exam protocols and maintain production and quality standards.
- Prepare patients or areas for procedures by properly positioning patients, adjusting immobilization devices, and calibrating equipment controls to set exposure factors.
- Ensure patient and employee safety by following all infection control, drug, and radiation safety protocols and techniques.
- Collaborate with engineers and physicists to optimize equipment functionality and report any issues to management.
- Maintain accurate medical imaging records in compliance with department policies for timely interpretation.
- Participate in quality assurance and control programs to ensure standards of quality exams and equipment maintenance are met.
- Work in a clinical environment, ensuring compliance with all job-specific obligations and organizational policies.
**Qualifications**:
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program (Required).
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- Certified Radiology Technologist (ARRT Credential).
