**Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist**
**Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:30 AM - 06:00 PM)**
**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. This position requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced hospital environment. You will primarily focus on performing vascular studies and procedures, as well as neuro interventions, including stroke interventions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct a range of interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, kyphoplasty, biopsies, drainages, and venous access.
- Utilize Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment effectively during procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient care in the inpatient hospital setting.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using PACS and other charting systems (Epic preferred).
- Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities, including weekends and evenings/nights.
- Attend mandatory orientation and training sessions during your first week of employment.
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations in the workplace.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology or a similar role; traveler experience required.
- Required certifications: BLS and ARRT.
- Preferred certifications: ARRT Advanced Certification.
- Experience with Epic charting system and familiarity with Visage is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated skill in neuro procedures (including stroke interventions) and body procedures.
- Ability to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.
- Must be available Monday through Friday during orientation week, with no other commitments.
**Patient Demographics:**
- Focus on treating adult and geriatric populations, with some adolescent care.
**Daily Case Load:**
- Expect an average case load between 13-17 cases daily.
**Equipment Proficiency:**
- Siemens and Phillips equipment experience is mandatory; familiarity with Acuson is preferred.
**Additional Information:**
- Candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call duties.
- A background check and mandatory health screenings are required prior to the start date.
