**Job Description: Rotating Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rotating Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role involves performing a variety of procedures in a comprehensive stroke center, including but not limited to cerebral angiograms, coiling, kyphoplasty, spine work, stroke therapy, and carotid stenting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both neuro and peripheral arteriograms.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform high-quality imaging and assist in interventional procedures related to neuro and body IR.
- Maintain a high level of proficiency in cerebral procedures, including coiling and other stroke therapies.
- Participate in evening, weekend, and holiday call rotations to ensure continuous coverage and patient care.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced acute care environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards including the use of the Epic Systems Corporation EMR.
**Schedule:**
- This position requires the ability to work 40 hours per week, with potential schedules including 5 - 8-hour days, 4 - 10-hour days, or 3 - 12-hour days with additional short shifts. Call schedules will vary based on the number of staff on rotation.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid certification as a Cardiac Interventional Radiologic Technologist (ARRT (CI)).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
- Extensive experience in coiling and stroke therapy along with a demonstrated ability to handle various interventional procedures effectively.
- Strong knowledge of interventional radiology practices and protocols.
**Additional Requirements:**
- Must possess a valid driver's license with an address located outside 50 miles from the facility.
- Agency must provide a radiation badge.
- Candidates must have previously completed minimum timeframes without prior contract roles in the area.
