**Job Title: Healthcare Professional - Day Shift (5x8-Hour)**
**Location: New York**
**Shift Schedule:**
- Day Shift: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- 5x8-Hour Shifts
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled healthcare professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in adult and pediatric care, with proficiency in utilizing the Epic charting system. This position requires strong clinical knowledge along with the ability to maintain a high standard of patient care across various age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Delivering high-quality patient care in an acute care setting.
- Effective communication with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Conducting bedside procedures and evaluations for patients.
- Utilizing Epic charting for patient documentation and record-keeping.
- Adhering to isolation precautions and maintaining patient safety at all times.
- Flexibility to float within various departments as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 1 year of charge experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with adult acute care and pediatric outpatient services.
- Familiarity with conducting diagnostic imaging procedures including routine and trauma exams.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Must hold a valid New York state license, with the license in hand at the time of application.
- Ability to float between units and adapt to varied patient ratios and conditions.
**Additional Information:**
- Required to complete orientation and ongoing training modules relevant to specialty.
- Candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible for this role.
