Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, carotid angiography and stenting
• Execute central venous access procedures including PICC lines, tunneled ports, and non-tunneled access
• Conduct specialized procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, and MitraClip procedures
• Perform diagnostic imaging including paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, and kyphoplasty
• Execute peripheral procedures, biopsies, drainages for upper and lower extremities
• Conduct abdominal, pelvic, and genitourinary studies
• Perform vascular studies and neurological studies with hemodynamic monitoring
• Operate imaging equipment including Siemens and Phillips systems
• Provide portable imaging services and C-Arm operation
• Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, and EKG lead placement
• Execute contrast procedures and fluoroscopy studies
• Work with pediatric through geriatric patient populations
• Float between units as required
• Participate in call coverage as needed
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Maintain required certifications including BLS, CRT, and fluoroscopy permit
• Perform CT arthrography and multiplanar reconstruction
• Execute specialized procedures including ablation, TIPS, and vertebroplasty
• Conduct thrombolysis and thrombectomy procedures
• Perform dialysis graft creation, revision, and interventions
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
