**Job Title: MRI Technologist**
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. The candidate should possess an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology, with a certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) considered a significant advantage. This position requires expertise in operating MRI machines, ensuring patient comfort, and coordinating with physicians for timely diagnostic imaging results.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient scanning facility.
- Collaborate with physicians to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare patients for MRI scans and clearly explain the scanning procedures to enhance their comfort.
- Document all procedures meticulously, adhering to patient confidentiality standards.
- Perform patient care tasks as necessary to support overall patient health and safety.
**Requirements:**
- **Experience:** Minimum of two (2) years of MRI technologist experience.
- **Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- GE or Siemens MRI scanner experience is mandatory to be considered for this position.
- **Technical Skills:** Familiarity with all non-contrast exams, routine musculoskeletal (MSK), neuro, spine, and occasional body MRI procedures is essential.
- **Behavioral Characteristics:** Must be able to work flexible hours, including the willingness to complete a two-week orientation period involving various shifts.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- ARRT certification or equivalent is highly desired, with a willingness to obtain certification post-hire.
**Working Conditions:**
- Full-time position, including a mandatory two-week training period of 40 hours before transitioning to a weekend shift.
