Weekly Breakdown:
Weekly Gross: $3,063.00 Per Week
On W2(Taxable): $760.00 Per Week
Stipend(Non-Taxable): $2,303.00 Per Week
Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and licensed X-Ray Technologist for a contract position in our Radiology Diagnostic department. The ideal candidate will operate radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure high standards of patient care and safety in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment safely and effectively.
- Minimize radiation exposure by adhering to protection protocols.
- Process and review images to ensure high quality and diagnostic accuracy.
- Maintain accurate patient records and complete documentation for all procedures.
- Ensure equipment maintenance and timely reporting of malfunctions.
- Follow established infection control and safety guidelines.
- Maintain inventory of radiology supplies and anticipate future needs.
- Participate in continuing education to meet CME and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Licensure:
- New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T)
- ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Experience: 0–2 years (new graduates welcome).
- Skills:
- Competency in diagnostic imaging procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality
- Dependability and professionalism in patient care environments
