Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to join a 33-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit in Akron, OH. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac monitoring skills, proficiency in EKG interpretation, and experience with critical drips and blood product administration. This role offers an excellent opportunity for both seasoned travelers and first-time contract nurses.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Weekly Gross Pay: $2,200.00
- Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,246.00
- W2 Hourly Rate: $26.50
- Schedule: 36 hours/week (3x12s)
- Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Floating: Required
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Scheduling: No block scheduling
Unit Details:
- 33-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit
- Patient population: cardiac monitoring, rhythm changes, post-interventional patients
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cardiac Telemetry RN
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA)
- EMR: EPIC proficiency required
- Skilled in heparin drips and blood product administration
- Proficient in EKG interpretation and recognising rhythm changes
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license
- First-time travelers welcome
