Location: Johnson City, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 3x12 hours (36 hrs/week)
Requirements:

Current NY State RN License
BLS & ACLS Certifications (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)
6 months–3 years RN experience (Med Surg / Stepdown)
Critical care level experience required: vents, vasoactive gtts, sedative gtts
Epic experience preferred

Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring compliance with NYS Nurse Practice Act, ANA Scope & Standards, and UHS policies. Responsibilities include:

Managing a group of patients as primary/accountable nurse
Educating patients/families on health promotion & disease management
Administering medications safely
Collaborating with healthcare team & participating in shared governance
Maintaining professional development and completing mandatory education
Supporting new staff and students
