Position: Post Partum (PP)
Shift: 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM
Required Qualifications:
1 year recent (within last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Active RN license in state of practice.
BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Proficient in electronic fetal monitoring, IV skills, and lab draws.
Knowledge of high-risk medication administration (Magnesium, Oxytocin, Insulin).
Skilled in urine POC testing, capillary blood glucose testing, and IStat use.
Experience in adult cardiac monitoring, newborn monitoring (pulse oximetry, cardiac), and neonatal procedures (heel sticks, venipuncture).
Knowledge of newborn IV medication administration, Bili-blankets/lights, radiant warmers.
Ability to provide maternal-newborn teaching, gyn teaching, and post-op bladder training.
