Job Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 1 year of experience is required, and first-time travelers are accepted.
Licensure: A PA or compact nursing license is required.
Certifications:
- BLS
- ONS/ONCC (chemotherapy certification)
- OCN certification is preferred.
Skills: Must have experience with chemotherapy administration, blood administration, IV skills, and accessing ports.
Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics.
Charting System: Epic (specifically Epic Beacon outpatient) is preferred.
Vaccination Requirements:
- COVID-19: Not required
- Flu: Required (with medical/religious exemptions)

Unit: CC_101580: Oncology Infusion Nurse
Patient Ratio: 1:5 (day shift)
Daily Census: 45 patients
Number of Rooms/Beds: 16
Interdisciplinary Support: Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Social Services, Pharmacy
Scrubs: Navy scrubs are required.
