Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3x12s – 36 hours/week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Rotating

Unit Overview:

Dual level-of-care unit: Telemetry + PCU
Designated Primary Stroke Center
Unit Size: 25 beds (9 designated PCU beds)
Patient Ratios:
- PCU: 1:3
- Telemetry/Floor: 1:5–6
Common Diagnoses: Chest pain, stroke, respiratory failure, sepsis

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years PCU experience required
EPIC EMR experience required
Must be comfortable with a mixed acuity unit

Certifications Required:

NIHSS
BLS (AHA)
ACLS
