School Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)

We are looking for an LPN or RN to ride the bus to and from school, Monday through Friday 6:30am-9:15am and then 1:30pm-3:45pm, with a group of medically fragile students.

Our LPNs/RNs enjoy some notable benefits:

Pay Range: School LPN's pay ranges from $33-$35 an hour; School RN's pay ranges from $39-$40 an hour
Flexible assignments to fit your needs. No weekends or holidays required.
Cannot be mandated to stay past your shift
Weekly Pay
Performance-based pay increases

Job Duties:

Plan, direct, assess and provide nursing care according to the policies and procedures of the school
Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
Provide basic first aid care.
Complete patient documentation.
Care for a student with asthma and watch for seizures.

A few must-haves for LPNs and RNs:

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN or RN in Michigan
CPR certification
Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
One year of pediatric experience is required
Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communicator and compassionate
