Direct-Hire Commercial Driver

Our client here in Eau Claire has immediate DIRECT HIRE openings for DRIVERs to join their team! Drivers are responsible for safely & efficiently transporting refrigerated freight to customers primarily located in the West Central Wisconsin area. As a driver, you will start your day between 3a and 5am each morning and work an 8-10 hour shift. You will be home every night - no overnight travel required! This position offers an excellent benefits package including Health, Dental, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Retirement Plan, and Quarterly Safety Bonuses!

In this role, you will:

Operate a tractor-trailer combination in a safe and professional manner at all times.
Complete a pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle, trailer, and any cargo.
Deliver assigned loads to Customers on time, while providing complete/excellent customer service.
Ensure that proper proof of delivery protocol is followed.
Ability and willingness to work varying routes and required overtime as designated by the Foreman.
May stock products at Customer sites, determine required quantities for their next order and handle return goods.
Unload returns/damaged goods, clean company vehicle, complete necessary paperwork, turn in any funds collected, park company vehicle in designated area and complete any necessary logs.

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid commercial motor vehicle operator license (Class A CDL)
Minimum 2 years driving experience with CDL preferred
Valid Medical Certificate
Must be 21 years of age
No DWI/DUI convictions in the last five (5) years.
No motor vehicle violations within the past twelve (12) months
Pre-employment Drug Screening
MVR Report
