Position Summary:

The ED RN will provide direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position will meet the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural and needs of the patient and family and will communicate effectively with all members of the health care team as appropriate about changes in the patientÃ¢€™s condition or response to treatment.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
Required Education:

AssociateÃ¢€™s degree is required. BachelorÃ¢€™s degree is preferred

Required License:

Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required (or compact state)

Required Certification:

BLS required
ACLS is required within 6 months of hire

Other:
1 year of experience in a health care setting is preferred
