Schedule & Shifts:
- Full-time: 3x12 or 4x12 hour night shifts
- Weekdays, every other weekend, holidays, and floating within contract
- OT billed after 48 hours on 4x12 schedule (48-hour contract available)
- Candidate shift preference required
Licensure & Certifications:
- Active Virginia or Compact RN license at time of submission (required)
- BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification
Requirements:
- Strong neuro experience required: post-neurosurgical, EVD, stroke care
- Proficiency in ICU-level skills: vents, IV drip titration, telemetry, conscious sedation, dysrhythmia & emergency management
- Patient ratio: 1:2–3
- Minimum 3 years critical care experience preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Must be EPIC EHR proficient
- Willingness to float to Stepdown, ED, or Med-Surg units
Work Authorization & Screening:
- No exceptions: candidates must have a clean license and background
- Local candidates (within 50 miles) will not be considered
- Driver’s license required for address verification
- Qualivis submission form and current NURSYS report required

- Neurosurgical and post-stroke
- Respiratory and renal failure
- Post-surgical and trauma
- Sepsis, MODS
- Heart failure and post-cardiac cath
