Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Facility: Parkland Medical Center

🔍 Unit Overview

Beds: 20
Staffing: 5 RNs & 2 LNAs per shift (flex based on volume)
Ratios: 4:1
Equipment: GE cardiac monitors, Hospira IV pumps
EMR: Expanse
Dress Code: Professional attire (no specific color required)

🩺 Role Requirements

Must-Haves

2 years’ PCU experience in a hospital setting
Active Compact RN license at time of submission
ACLS, BLS, and NIAH certifications
Dysrhythmia recognition and critical drip experience

Preferred

Pre/post cardiac cath & pacer care
Prior HCA experience

🧠 Personality Fit

Self-directed, positive, resilient in challenging situations
Strong communicator and collaborative team player

🌐 Additional Info

Float Areas: Med Surg, ICU (for border patients), Emergency Department (for ED holds)
Weekends: Every other weekend or as needed
Procedures: Not specified
