Overview:
Are you an experienced OR RN ready for your next high-paying travel assignment? We’re hiring a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract at a leading facility in New York State. This opportunity offers 3x12s schedule, and a start date of August 25, 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, effective nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons as both scrub and circulating nurse (depending on experience)
- Maintain aseptic technique and manage OR instrumentation
- Accurately document patient information and surgical procedures
- Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure quality outcomes
Schedule:
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Day shifts available
- Weekends and holiday rotation as needed
Contract Length:
13 Weeks (with possibility of extension)
Compensation & Benefits:

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN (CVOR) experience Required
- Active RN license in New York State (Required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications – AHA only (Required)
Preferred Skills:
- Multi-specialty OR experience: General, Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, etc.
- Experience with both scrub and circulating roles is a plus
Two years of the following experience is required: Scrub and circulating experience IV insertion and phlebotomy skill conscious sedation experience
