Supplemental Health Care is working with a school district in Algonquin, Illinois to hire Occupational Therapists. School-Based Occupational Therapist Contract Details:
- $45 – $47 an hour
- School-based Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
- 2025-2026 School Year
- $3000 assignment bonus for new Supplemental Health Care employees
- Schedule: Full-time
- Start Date: March 2025
- End Date: June 2025
- Location: Algonquin/Hampshire/Dundee, IL
- Assignment Details: Blended and self-contained Early Childhood. Resource and self-contained Elementary.
- Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results
- Evaluates students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services
- Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals
- Work collaboratively and communicate with school interdisciplinary team and student guardians
- Schedule follows the school district calendar
- Will provide occupational therapy services according to student IEP
- Assigned schools may include various grade levels
- May be asked to travel between school locations
- May be asked to supervise assistants

Requirements:
- Illinois IDFPR Occupational Therapist License
- American Heart Association BLS
- Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required
