Start Date: 8/25/2025
Contract length: 13 weeks
GSA: up to 36 hours per week. Hours not guaranteed week of orientation or during the holidays where the unit is closed.
**Facility can cancel one shift biweekly without penalty**
Orientation: Five 8-hour shifts.
Shift: 12hr Weekend Nights FRI-SAT-SUN 1845-0715, Attending Friday morning huddle at 0645
Float Requirement: Call rotation required
On Call/Callback Requirement: None Call rotation required
Holidays: (1) 24-hour call once per contract. Recognized holidays: New Years’ Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, and Christmas Day
Staff Meeting: 4th week of every month
Scrub requirement: Facility provides
Required CURRENT Experience (HARD STOPS): General Surgery, Robotics (Davinci), Ortho (joint, sport & spine), Endo, Urology, C-Sections, and Cataract/Retina.
***Must have experience with cataracts/retinas, vascular (thrombectomy), C-sections
Other cases include: bariatrics, OBGYN, ENT and vascular
Scrubs: provided
Minimum Experience: 1 -2 years based on trauma level experience and must have completed 1 travel assignment, 2 preferred
Scrubs: provided by facility
Charting Experience Required: none

**Compliance is due 7 business days prior to start date**
A weekend option employee (WOE) will limit PTO to one weekend per quarter with the exception of one spring/summer vacation and one fall winter vacation where 2 weekends in a row will be permitted in order for the WOE to have a full week off. For the purposes of time off, the weekend includes Saturday/Sunday only. WOE will be allowed to take Fridays and Mondays off above and beyond the weekend limit.
